Rhizoma Pinelliae. Part used: Rhizome. Known as Pinellia Rhizome. Entering meridians: Lung, Spleen and Stomach. Jiang Ban Xia is processed with ginger whereas Fa Ban Xia is processed with liquorice. By processing the herb with ginger, it is more effective at treating conditions.
