Qian Shi
Dried Euryale Seeds (Qian Shi) is a popular herb in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), as well as Indian cuisine. These are the ripe seeds of the annual plant Euryale ferox Salisb. of the family Nyphaeace. These can be found predominantly in Chinese provinces such as Hunan, Jiangxi and Anhui. Qian Shi is collected in late Autumn to early Winter, has no smell and a slight flavour.
