Wu Wei Zi

Dried Chinese Magnolia-Vine Fruit (Wu Wei Zi) are the ripe fruits of perennial plant of either Schisandra chinensis (Turcz.) Baill or Schisandra sphenanthera Rend. et Wills of family Magnoliaceae. These fruits are mainly produced in northeast, southwest and southern parts of China and the Yangtze River Valley. Wu Wei Zi's ripe fruits are collected in Autumn and then dried.
